Suspect Attacked, Robbed Man During NYC Home Invasion, Police Say

NEW YORK CITY — Police are searching for a suspect who forced his way into a Manhattan apartment and attacked and robbed a resident last weekend.
The incident happened on Feb. 22 at a building near West 30th Street and 11th Avenue in Hudson Yards, police said.
The suspect is accused of forcing his way into a 42-year-old man's apartment and punched him in the face, police said.

The home invader took a number of items from the victim's apartment before exiting the building and fleeing on foot along 11th Avenue.
The victim suffered facial lacerations but refused medical attention at the scene, police said.

The NYPD released surveillance images of the suspect on Thursday. He was last seen wearing a black Nike sweatshirt, gray pants and black sneakers.
