Suspect Sought For Slashing On-Duty DOT Worker, Police Say
No arrests have been made as of Thursday afternoon.
NEW YORK CITY — Police are searching for an e-bike rider who allegedly slashed a city Department of Transportation worker on Wednesday.
The incident happened on Broadway and Cedar Street around 7 a.m., according to a AMNY report and police.
According to police, the worker and the suspect got into an argument after the cyclist almost crashed into the worker's truck.

The argument escalated with the suspect taking out a box cutter and slashing the worker in the arm and back, police said.
The worker was taken to NYC Health and Hospitals/Bellevue for treatment and was released.
