Suspect Sought For Slashing Man Inside NYC Subway Train

NEW YORK CITY — Police are searching for a suspect who slashed a man aboard a southbound A train in Lower Manhattan earlier this month.

The incident happened on Feb. 4 around 5:48 a.m., police said.

A 33-year-old man was aboard an A train when an unknown individual began arguing with him over a seat, police said.

The suspect then slashed the victim on the left hand with an unknown sharp object.

The unknown man fled the train on foot, police said.

The victim was treated on scene for his injuries.

The suspect was last seen wearing a black facemask, red shirt and black jacket.

No arrests have been made, and an investigation remains ongoing.
