Teen Beats 79-Year-Old Woman Outside Her NYC Home: NYPD

NEW YORK CITY — Police are looking for a teenage girl who allegedly beat up a 79-year-old woman outside a Chelsea apartment building on Monday.

The incident happened at 300 West 17th Street around 1150 a.m., police said.

The 79-year-old victim was in front of her building when she got into a verbal dispute with the suspect.

The suspect fled the scene on foot, heading west on 17th Street.

The NYPD released surveillance images of the suspect. The individual was last seen wearing black pants, a black coat and red sneakers.
