Teen Charged After Fatal Stabbing Of 16-Year-Old Inside NYC Deli

NEW YORK CITY — A 17-year-old girl has been arrested and charged in connection with the fatal stabbing of a 16-year-old inside a New York City deli on Tuesday, police announced.
The suspect has been charged with murder, manslaughter and criminal possession of a weapon, police said.
The incident happened at 3511 Boston Road near Mickle Avenue in the Williamsbridge section of the Bronx just before 4 p.m., Patch previously reported.

Officers found the victim, identified as Aliyah Williams, with multiple stab wounds to her head and body inside the deli.
According to an NYPD spokesperson, the stabbing followed a dispute inside the deli involving Williams, though additional details were not immediately available.

Williams was rushed to Jacobi Hospital in critical condition, where she was later pronounced dead.
It is unknown at this time whether Williams knew her attacker.
