Teen Stabbed Near NYC High School: NYPD

NEW YORK CITY — A 16-year-old boy was stabbed near a New York City school Wednesday morning, police said.

The incident happened near the John F. Kennedy Educational Campus in the Bronx around 8:45 a.m., according to a PIX11 report.

The teen suffered a stab wound to the abdomen, police said.

The 16-year-old was on his way to school when the stabbing occurred and was able to make his way to the school where he was helped by a school safety agent, according to the report.

The teen was transported to a local hospital for treatment. His condition is unknown at this time.
