Thief Snags $150K Designer Bag From Midtown Hotel, Police Say
The bag napper grabbed the luxury luggage from a Fifth Avenue hotel's bagging holding area on Valentine's Day, NYPD officials said.

NEW YORK CITY — A thief lugged a $150,000 designer bag from a Midtown hotel's bagging area, police said.
The bag napping unfolded Valentine's Day in The Peninsula, an historic luxury hotel along Fifth Avenue, authorities said.
The pilferer walked into the hotel's bagging holding area and purloined the bag, reported to be a $150,000 Birkin by PIX11 — a detail that NYPD officials could not confirm to Patch.

The man hoofed it down West 55th Street and hasn't been seen since, police said.
He is described 5 feet 11 inches tall, bald and wearing a black jacket, black pants, black sneakers, a black backpack and black sunglasses, authorities said.
