Watch Time Lapse Videos: Insane July Thunderstorm Swallows New York City
At around 4 p.m. Thursday afternoon, the earth cried big, wet tears in NYC.

This mid-summer thunderstorm slapped New York City in the face Thursday afternoon, sending people into subway stations, libraries and canopies to take cover. The time lapse videos were pretty incredible:
