NEW YORK, NY — President Donald Trump paid no federal income taxes in 10 of the 15 years that immediately preceded his presidency, the New York Times revealed after obtaining Trump's tax information covering more than two-decades.

The tax returns reveal struggling properties, vast write-offs, an audit battle and hundreds of millions in debt coming due, the Times reported. Trump did pay $750 in federal income taxes the year he was elected and another $750 the first year of his presidency, the Times reported

Trump has avoided paying taxes by declaring more losses than income. In 2018, although declaring he made "at least" $434.9 million, he reported $47.4 million in losses. Trump is facing increasingly serious financial challenges, the Times reported.
