BRONX, NY — As the NYPD makes arrests connected to two widely-publicized incidents where cops had water thrown on them in Harlem and Brooklyn, a third video of police officers being doused in the Bronx emerged Wednesday.

A crowd of people holding buckets full of water and plastic water guns assembled on a street corner in The Bronx across from two police officers who appear to be on guard duty, according to the video. Once traffic clears the intersection, the men with buckets step toward the officers and launch water at them from a distance.

The police officers jogged a few steps down the block to avoid the water, but did not take any action against the group, according to the video.

Sources told the New York Post that the incident occurred Wednesday, but did not know the exact location or time.

Videos posted to social media Monday of police officers being doused with water by crowds as they worked in Harlem and Brownsville during the weekend's heat wave have left police brass, officers unions and public officials outraged. An officer was also hit in the head by a thrown water bucket in Harlem, police said.

NYPD Chief of Department Terence Monahan described the actions shown in the videos as "reprehensible."

"NYC's cops & communities have made remarkable progress — together — but EVERY New Yorker MUST show respect for our cops. They deserve nothing less," Monahan said in a statement posed to Twitter.

The chief followed up with a statement urging police officers to: "Use your discretion — make arrests when necessary — and know that you have our support and full confidence."

Chad Bowden, 28, and Isiah Scott, 23, are facing charges of criminal mischief, harassment and disorderly conduct for throwing water on a woman and damaging her phone, police said. The men are currently being questioned for their role in dumping water on two police officers as they made an arrest in Harlem Sunday. Courtney Thomas, 28, was arrested and hit with similar charges for dumping a bucket of water on an officer in Browsnville, police said.
