Weinstein Hospitalized After Chest Pain On Way To Jail: Reports
The disgraced movie mogul suffered health problems while en route to Rikers Island.

NEW YORK CITY – Harvey Weinstein suffered chest pain as he was being shuttled to Rikers Island after being convicted of rape Monday and was rerouted to Bellevue Medical Center, multiple news agencies reported.
The disgraced movie mogul, 67, was in an ambulance after being ordered to the jail when he suffered heart palpitations, pain and high blood pressure, CNN reported. The network reported details given to them by his lawyer.
The attorney told CNN he was admitted to the hospital but was "OK" Monday night.

He had been convicted of rape and committing a criminal sex act just hours earlier, but was acquitted of the more serious charge of predatory sexual assault.
He is expected to be moved to Rikers once he's discharged from Bellevue, CNN reported. His sentencing is scheduled for March 11.
