NEW YORK CITY — Police are searching for a woman who slashed a subway rider in the face inside a Manhattan subway station this past weekend.

The incident happened on Nov.17 around 3:40 a.m. inside the 42 Street-Port Authority subway station, police said.

The NYPD released surveillance photos of the suspect on Thursday.

A 26-year-old man was walking inside the station when he was approached by an unidentified woman, who proceeded to slash him in the face with an unknown cutting object.

The suspect fled the subway station after the incident, police said.

The victim sustained a laceration to the face and was transported to Bellevue Hospital in stable condition.
