Police Searching For Woman Who Took NYC Subway Train For Joyride
The MTA said no passengers were on board when the incident occurred.
NEW YORK CITY — Police are searching for a woman who broke into an empty subway train and took if for a joyride in Queens on Thursday.
The incident happened around 4:30 a.m. inside the Broadway Station, police said.
The unidentified woman got inside a locked N train and operating it to the 36th Avenue station in Astoria.

The MTA said no one was on board when the incident occurred and the train was left undamaged.
N train service was not impacted Thursday morning. An investigation remains ongoing.

Similarly, earlier this year, a group of kids were arrested after stealing an R train in Brooklyn.
In February, two teen boys were arrested for breaking into an unoccupied R train in Queens.
