HUDSON VALLEY, NY — Two lucky winners have more than just change in their pocket after making stops at Hudson Valley retailers on Friday.
The New York Lottery announced two top-prize winning tickets were sold in the Hudson Valley for the October 17, Take 5 evening drawing.
One prize-winning ticket worth $5,896.50 was sold at Congers Little Food Market, located on Route 303 in Congers. Another prize-winning ticket worth $5,896.50 was sold at Acme, located on Route 82 in Hopewell Junction.

The winning numbers on the prize-winning lottery tickets are 5-12-17-23-27.
Winners have up to one year from the date of the drawing to claim the prize money.

TAKE-5 numbers are drawn from a field of numbers ranging from one through 39. The drawing is televised twice daily, at 2:30 p.m. and 10:30 p.m.
