3 Accused Of Interfering With Emergency Responders

Stony Point police responding to a fire one day and a speeding car several days later reported three arrests.

STONY POINT, NY — Three men are accused of interfering with emergency responders in two recent separate incidents in Stony Point involving alcohol.

At 10:13 p.m. Feb. 20, officers responded to an address in Tomkins Cove for a fire alarm activation. They could see heavy smoke coming from a window of an apartment in the building. After knocking on the door numerous times with negative results officers forced their way in and were met by Calvin Parker.

Police alleged that Parker, 49, was highly intoxicated and uncooperative.
