69-Year-Old Nabbed On Felony Child Sexual Exploitation Charges: NYSP

The Stony Point man was released and issued an appearance ticket, returnable to the Town of Stony Point Court.

HAVERSTRAW, NY — A Rockland County man was caught with thousands of images depicting child sexual abuse, according to New York State Police.

On Tuesday , the State Police Troop F Bureau of Criminal Investigation (BCI) in Haverstraw arrested 69-year-old Benjamin Kreinen, of Stony Point, on charges related to child sexual exploitation.

Kreinen is charged with felony possessing a sexual performance by a child less than 16.

He is accused of possessing and having access to around 10,000 images and videos of child sexual exploitation.

Kreinen's arrest comes after an investigation by the Troop F Computer Crimes Unit, in collaboration with Troop F BCI in Haverstraw, which led to a search of Kreinen’s home in Stony Point in February.
