Boil Water Order Lifted In Spring Valley

Customers along Union Road and Jasinski Road no longer have to boil their water

 

The boil water order has been lifted for customers on Union Road and Jasinski Road in Spring Valley. The order was in effect since Thursday when  a contractor working on a county sewer project struck a six-inch water main. the Rockland County Health Department notified United Water that lab results showed the the water meets all safe drinking water standards. The boil water order has ended for customers at:  

Union Road #23, 27, 28, 30, 32, 33, 34, 36, 38, 40, 45, 53, 55, 68, 70

Jasinski Road #1, 2, 4

"We recognize that a boil water order is an inconvenience to our customers and we thank them for their patience during this time," said Michael Pointing, vice president and general manager of United Water. "Thank you also to our employees who worked to restore service as quickly as possible and performed all necessary tests to ensure the quality of the water.”
