
Rockland County Executive C. Scott Vanderhoef presented certificates of appreciation to nine high school seniors, including three from Clarkstown schools, who have enlisted in the U.S. Army and will be attending basic training this summer.
The seniors who were recognized by Vanderhoef on Friday are:
- Maxwell Abt of Clarkstown North High School
- Edwin Bermeo and Julianna Novellino of Clarkstown South High School
- Salvatore Bulfamante, Amonte Lindsey and Rafael Frias of Ramapo High School
- Angelo Tapia–Gil and Kendell Willis of North Rockland High School
- Stephanie Beauvil of Spring Valley High School
“We are proud of these young people for their courageous decision to join the Army,” said Vanderhoef. “We wish them a safe journey as they make this selfless commitment to our great nation.”
