Department Reviews On Legislative Committee Agendas

Wednesday meetings focus on operational reviews

 

The three Rockland County Legislature committees meeting on Wednesday all have operational reviews of departments on their agendas. 

The Economic Development Committee will begin its 5:15 p.m. session with an update of the Rockland Economic Development Corporation from its President and CEO Michael DiTullo. That will be followed by a discussion and operational review of the county’s Planning Department.

The Environmental Committee session at 6 p.m. includes a discussion of enforcing the county’s source separation laws for recycling. Additionally, its members will receive overviews of the county’s Youth Bureau and Department of Environmental Resources.  Representatives of the Personnel and Consumer Protection/Weights & Measures Department will provide explanations of their department’s functions to the Government Operations Committee during its 6:45 p.m. meeting.
