Father & Son Accused Of Shoplifting Vanilla Ensure In Stony Point

Stony Point police used surveillance video to identify the suspects.

STONY POINT, NY — A father and son accused of stealing from a Shoprite supermarket in Stony Point face petty larceny charges after a painstaking investigation by the Stony Point Police Department.

The theft was $567.82 worth of vanilla Ensure, Stony Point police told Patch.

Police were called Nov. 13, the day after it happened. They reviewed surveillance video and identified two suspects.

On Feb. 6, Frank Mancini 65, and Anthony Mancini, 22, turned themselves in. The father is a Yonkers resident and the son lives in Ramsey, New Jersey. They each face a charge of petty larceny. Both are due back in Stony Point Justice Court on Feb. 16.
