Gilchrest Road in Valley Cottage will be closed starting Sunday. CSX is upgrading the railroad crossing on Gilchrest Road. The closure is expected to last one week, weather permitting.
Detour signs will be posted and the detour route will include the following roadways: Kings Highway, Lake Road, and Route 303. Drivers should plan alternate routes of travel.
