Good Samaritan Hospital Plans 'Girls' Night Out' Fundraiser for Center for Breast Health
The Girls' Night Out: Laugh Out Loud and Shop Till You Drop fundraiser takes place Oct. 20 at Crowne Plaza.

From Good Samaritan Hospital:
It’s not often that women have an opportunity to stand up for an important cause with standup comedy. Add to that luxury shopping, mini makeovers, a learning session and dinner.
The community is invited to Good Samaritan Hospital’s Girls’ Night Out, a social evening with an important purpose, on Thursday, October 20, at 6pm at the Crowne Plaza in Suffern.

Funds raised at Girls’ Night Out will support The Center for Breast Health at Good Samaritan Hospital. Rockland County resident and standup comedian Regina DeCicco will share the spotlight with Karen Karsif, M.D., director of The Center for Breast Health. The evening includes dinner, a high-end shopping experience, mini makeovers, a silent action, raffles and more fun that anyone can pack into a shopping bag. The cost to attend is $50.
“Breast health is every woman’s concern. The more women, younger and older, who know about breast disease, the better armed we all are to achieve optimal health,” said Dr. Karsif. “October, Breast Cancer Awareness Month, is the perfect time for our community to come together to support local access to advanced healthcare.”
