"I am proud to partner with all of Rockland County law enforcement in our ongoing efforts to keep the people safe," Sheriff Falco said.

ROCKLAND COUNTY, NY — A community gun buyback event will be held in Spring Valley June 6, Rockland County Sheriff Louis Falco III announced.

  • WHEN: 3-7 p.m. June 6
  • WHERE: St. Joseph’s Church, 245 N. Main St. Spring Valley, NY.

The event is being held in partnership with the Spring Valley Police and Ramapo Police Departments, the New York State Police, the Rockland County District Attorney’s Office and all local law enforcement agencies.

“Senseless gun violence continues to plague our county, state and the entire nation. Any firearms that we can remove from our streets can potentially prevent them from being used in criminal and other violent acts that negatively impact our communities. I am proud to partner with all of Rockland County law enforcement in our ongoing efforts to keep the people safe," Falco said.
