Holiday Eve And Day Openings And Closings

Rockland County government offices are open on Tuesday for regular hours but some departments may close early. All offices are closed on Wednesday, Dec. 25.

Clarkstown Town Hall will be open for regular hours on Tuesday. It will be closed on Wednesday, Christmas Day, and regular hours will resume on Thursday. Garbage pickups will not take place on Wednesday. They will resume on the next regularly scheduled day, which is Saturday.

The Nanuet Library will be open on Tuesday from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. and closed Wednesday. It will reopen at its normal time on Thursday.  The New City Library will be open from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Tuesday and closed Wednesday, Dec. 25. It will reopen at its regular time on Thursday.

The Shops At Nanuet will be open on Tuesday from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. and closed Wednesday. They will reopen from 6 a.m. to 10 p.m. on Thursday.

The Palisades Center in West Nyack will be open from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Tuesday.  On Christmas Day, it is up to the stores to open or not. On Thursday the mall is open from 7 a.m. until 9:30 p.m.
