Keynote Speaker:
Dan McMillan
Dan McMillan is the author of
How Could This Happen: Explaining the Holocaust (Basic Books, 2014). In his writing and public speaking, Dr. McMillan offers a concise and accessible synthesis of the causes of this catastrophe, and seeks to explain why the Holocaust moves us like no other historical event. He holds a History Ph.D. from Columbia University as well as a law degree from Fordham, and has worked as a history professor and as a prosecuting attorney.
