Victim ID Released In Homicide Investigation In Haverstraw: PD
A local man was shot multiple times Tuesday evening, according to police.
HAVERSTRAW, NY — A 22-year-old local man was murdered on Clove Avenue Tuesday evening, police said.
Police on Wednesday afternoon identified the victim as Muhssia King, 22, of Haverstraw.
The homicide happened around 8:45 p.m., according to police.

King was seated in the driver’s seat of a vehicle when he was approached by an unknown number of suspects, according to police.
“Multiple rounds were fired into the vehicle, striking King several times,” police said, in a news release Wednesday afternoon.

The victim was pronounced dead at the scene.
Police said they have not yet determined the motive for the slaying.
“We are actively working alongside multiple law enforcement agencies to thoroughly investigate this incident,” police said.
No arrests have been made as of Wednesday afternoon.
