New City, NY – November, 2023 - Christie's International Real Estate Group in Westchester and the Hudson Valley is proud to announce that Jacqueline Morales, Licensed Real Estate Salesperson and Team Leader of the Jacqueline Morales Homes Team, was honored recently at the Rockland County Legislature’s Hispanic Heritage Celebration for her leadership role and ongoing efforts at the Latinos of Real Estate Organization (LORE). Every year, the Rockland County Legislature celebrates National Hispanic Heritage Month by recognizing, acknowledging and celebrating the achievements and contributions of individuals from the Latino/Latinx community.
“I am deeply honored to receive the Distinguished Service Award from Jay Hood, Chairman of the Legislator’s Office. This recognition means a great deal to me, and I am humbled by the appreciation shown for my efforts in serving the people of Rockland County. My journey has been fueled by a passion to serve the underserved Latino community, particularly in the areas of housing and education. It has been my firm belief that everyone, regardless of their background, deserves the opportunity to achieve the dream of homeownership. I've seen the incredible potential in the hearts of these individuals, and I've made it my mission to equip them with the knowledge and resources they need to make the best decisions for themselves and their families through my organization Latinos of Real Estate. Through housing initiatives, educational programs and advocacy, we're working hard to empower the members of our community, helping them turn their dreams of homeownership into a reality. This award isn't just a recognition of my work; it's a testament to the power of collective effort and the positive change that can be achieved when a community comes together. I want to express my heartfelt gratitude to the Rockland County Legislator's Office for this honor, and I share it with the dedicated individuals of the Board of Directors and committee members who have supported and worked alongside me. It inspires me to continue our mission and drive forward to create even more opportunities for the Latino community. I wholeheartedly believe that together we can build a brighter future for Rockland County, where everyone has the chance to thrive and achieve their dreams,” said Morales.
“Congratulations to Jackie on receiving the Distinguished Citizens Award. The work that she is doing in at LORE is invaluable. This well-deserved honor is a true testament to her dedication, hard work, professionalism and commitment to making an impact in the community.” said Sonja Cullaro, Executive Vice President of Christie’s International Real Estate Group.
Also honored at the celebration were Jorge Folch, President of the Hispanic Law Enforcement Organization; Raymond Mosquea, Founder of Path to Infinite and Village of Haverstraw Sustainability Coordinator; Susan Oelkers-Ramos, CEO of Environmental Construction; and Fernando Pena, President of the Quisqueya Sports Club.
