Multi-Agency Undercover Child Exploitation Op Leads To 6 Arrests: NYSP

The suspects arrested are from Ossining, Cortlandt Manor, Stony Point, Monsey, Monticello and New Jersey, police said.

HUDSON VALLEY, NY — A massive, child exploitation undercover operation has led to half a dozen arrests, according to law enforcement.

New York State Police announced that they conducted an undercover operation with the FBI, the Rockland County Sheriff's Office and the Town of Ramapo Police Department, targeting those involved in the online exploitation of children. The dayslong operation resulted in the identification and arrests of several suspects engaged in child exploitation and trafficking, according to state police.

Police said the operation deployed highly trained investigators to infiltrate online platforms where these types of crimes often start. Through the use of advanced cyber tactics, investigators were able to identify people attempting to exploit vulnerable children online and meet them in person.

The operation resulted in six men being arrested and charged with various offenses. Police say that a historical investigation will continue into each of the men who were exposed during the investigation.
