Nanuet Man Arrested For Congers Gas Station Burglary

Clarkstown Police arrested Roger Jefferson, 46, of Nanuet on Thursday in connection with the July burglary of the BP Gas Station on Lake Road in Congers.

Police filed felony charges against Jefferson for burglary, grand larceny and criminal possession of stolen property. He was also charged with several misdemeanors. 

According to police, the burglary of the gas station’s office occurred in the early morning on July 27 when a window air conditioning unit was pushed into the office and two computers valued at about $2,500 were removed.

Jefferson was arraigned in Clarkstown Justice Court and sent to the Rockland County Jail in lieu of $25,000 bail.  He is due back in court on August 5.
