Doonan and Haughey were arraigned Thursday in front of the Honorable Kevin F. Russo and were remanded without bail to the Rockland County Jail. They each face a maximum of 25 years to life in state prison, if convicted.
"I would like to commend the investigation by the Clarkstown Police Detective Bureau on this case," Walsh said. "The alleged actions of the defendants show a clear disregard for human life. What makes this case very troubling is the grandfather and grandson relationship between the defendant and victim."
