New City's Joann Garner 'Is The Greatest Person I Know,' Says Neighbor

NEW CITY, NY— Moms do so much for everyone around them. We try to celebrate them all year long, but Mother's Day is a perfect opportunity to shout it from the rooftops and post it on Patch: Mom rocks!

What makes your Mom extra special?

She is a very good person. She gives you the shirt off her back. She makes sure the kids are to school on time, and always has good advice to give. No matter what, she always has a smile on her face. She is the greatest person I know. ❤️ She never thinks about herself she's the best thing in my and others' life.

Why do you feel your Mom deserves the spotlight?

Because she is not my real mother — she is my neighbor, and we call her "Granny" and we are thankful to have her in our lives. 💖
