Pomona Man Faces Weapons Charges: Police
He is accused of brandishing both a handgun and a billy club during an argument, police said.
STONY POINT, NY — A Pomona resident faces weapons and menacing charges after a dispute in Tomkins Cove in February, Stony Point police said.
At 12:05 a.m. Feb. 15 police were called to West Shore Drive, where the complainant told them about a dispute in which his antagonist had brandished both a handgun and a billy club.
Following an investigation, police sought Dahaire Edwards from Pomona. On Feb. 26, he was seen driving in Stony Point and was arrested, police said. He was processed, arraigned, and released on an appearance ticket

Edwards, 42, faces two felony charges and two misdemeanor charges, including criminal possession of a weapon, criminal possession of a firearm and menacing.
He is due back in Stony Point Justice Court March 21.
