Public Hearing On Zoning And Adopt-A-Spot Locations
Clarkstown Town Board takes up a variety of issues include creation of a sergeant's position in the police department

The Clarkstown Town Board begins its Tuesday night meeting with presentations to the Clarkstown Youth Court and JT’s Forty Something Softball League, 2012 Champions. The league plays games at Zukor and Germonds parks.
The board will then hold a public hearing on a proposed local law to amend the zoning map and code regarding major regional shopping and regional shopping. The amendments would rezone properties along Route 59 and Route 303 near the Palisades Center that are currently zoned light industrial office and regional shopping to major regional shopping. Other parcels zoned for light industrial office, manufacturing and medium density single-family housing would be changed to regional shopping zoning.
