Ramapo Police Investigating Thefts Arrest Man, Teen

Police were investigating the fraudulent use of stolen credit cards as well as theft from donation boxes.

RAMAPO, NY — Ramapo police investigating the theft and fraudulent use of credit cards and the theft of money from donation boxes at religious institutions announced the arrest of two local residents, one 36 and the other 16.

The man was charged with Identity Theft, Criminal Possession of Stolen Property, Grand Larceny and Conspiracy, police said Saturday. He was released on his own recognizance with a return date to Ramapo Justice Court.

The boy was charged with Grand Larceny, Criminal Possession of Stolen Property, and Identity Theft. He was released to his parents with the case returnable to the Rockland County Family Court, police said.
