Officials thanked members of the public who sent in tips about her location.

"It is important to thank the community with this, because had they not had the wherewithal and paid attention to the Facebook page, took a look," New Jersey State Park Police Chief George Fedorczyk said at a news conference. "How many of us get Ring cameras that we buzz, we just kind of take a glance at it? 'OK that's fine, it's the mailman.' This individual obviously took the time, recognized, was aware of the situation and appropriately called the authorities to where we can get this to a positive resolution."
