Second Undercover Prostitution Sting At Spa Leads To New Arrest
In March, a Queens woman was arrested at the same location and charged with prostitution and unauthorized practice of a profession.
HAVERSTRAW, NY — Undercover police made a return visit to a Rockland County spa that was temporarily ordered closed after a sting earlier this year, according to police.
The Haverstraw Police Department says community complaints about alleged prostitution led to the latest undercover investigation, with the New York State Police, at the Solace Springs Spa, on Route 9W, in Haverstraw.
Police say the operation resulted in the arrest of 49-year-old Xiaona Wang, of Haverstraw. She was charged with felony unauthorized practice of a profession and misdemeanor prostitution.

Wang allegedly solicited an undercover investigator for sexual acts in exchange for payment, and performed a massage without holding a valid NYS massage therapy license, according to police.

Authorities say this was the second arrest this year resulting from an investigation at the same spa.
On March 21, a 45-year-old Queens woman was arrested at the same location and charged with prostitution and unauthorized practice of a profession after allegedly offering sexual acts for payment, and performing unlicensed massage services.
Due to the repeated violations, the Village of Haverstraw Building Department once again revoked the Certificate of Occupancy for Solace Springs Spa, effectively closing the business.
Haverstraw Police Department personnel assigned to the Rockland County Intelligence Center and the FBI–Westchester Safe Streets Task Force were at the scene to assist in the investigation.
The Haverstraw Police Department says it "remains committed to addressing community complaints and working alongside our law enforcement partners to uphold public safety and professional standards within our community."
