Trash Fire Burns Small Shed at South Nyack Home
Home on Glen Byron Avenue not damaged.

A fire in garbage cans at a waterfront South Nyack home this morning burned a trash shed at the house, according to the Nyack Fire Department.
The home along the Hudson River on Glen Byron Avenue - two blocks east of South Broadway - was not damaged in the 6:51 a.m. fire.
Nyack volunteer firefirefighters and South Nyack-Grand View Police discovered the trash shed burning after a neighbor reported the fire. Firefighters said residents of the affected home reported they had been smelling something burning for about 30 minutes before the fire was discovered.

No one was injured. Nyack firefighters were done with their efforts at about 7:28 a.m.
