After a really tough couple of weeks, Rocklanders will get a break if they want to attend the 16th annual "Salute To Our Veterans" concert at Ramapo High School for Veterans Day 2012. Ramapo town Supervisor Christopher P. St. Lawrence said there will be no admission fee for the Veterans Day show that is sponsored by the Town of Ramapo and The Jewish War Veterans. "Given the hardship that local residents have experienced during the past few weeks, we thought that it would be appropriate to waive the admission fee," said St. Lawrence.  Event entry will not require a ticket. The concert is set for Sunday, Nov. 11, at Ramapo High School, 400 Viola Road, Spring Valley, with doors opening at 1:45 p.m. The concert features Joe Battaglia and the New York Big Band.  Battaglia has performed throughout the world with such notable artists as Frank Sinatra, Shirley Bassey and Tony Bennett.
