Voting is Sacred

The right to vote is a sacred responsibility, enshrined in our Constitution and safeguarded by generations of patriots who have fought to secure our freedoms. Today, this right is defended by our brave men and women in uniform, ensuring that every citizen has a voice in shaping the future of our country at the Federal, State, and local levels.

To ensure our government truly reflects the values we hold dear, it is essential that we all participate in the electoral process. The ONLY way to influence the direction of our Republic is by casting your vote. It is how you make your voice heard and help guide Rockland, New York State, and our Nation toward the future we all envision.

Early voting has been underway since October 25th and I urge every eligible voter to make sure their voice is counted, whether through early voting or on Election Day, Tuesday Nov. 4th.

If you need more inspiration, remember the nearly two million members of the military who have made the ultimate sacrifice to protect your liberty and your right to vote. They did not know you personally, but they believed in securing your freedoms. Honor their sacrifice by exercising the right they fought to protect.

This year, you have the opportunity to vote for a wide range of critical offices, including your county executive, judges, town supervisors, village mayors and trustees, and more.

Now is the time to research the candidates and issues so that you can make an informed decision. Your vote is not only your voice but a means to bring about the changes you want to see in government.
