Yogurt Sensations Opens Second Location
Yogurt Sensations opened its doors in Pearl River for the first time Sunday, the day of the Rockland County St. Patrick's Day Parade.
Martin Cohen, who owns Yogurt Sensations in New City, initially planned to have his second shop open in Pearl River on Feb. 1.
Once the opening was delayed, he knew the date he could not miss was March 17, the day of the Rockland County St. Patrick's Day Parade.

Yogurt Sensations opened Sunday in Pearl River, taking advantage of the massive crowd from the parade to make the first day a busy one.
"It took us a little bit longer than expected, but as you can see, it’s working out perfect today," Cohen said. "Today was the day to be open no matter what. It was busy all day. The people here are wonderful."

Cohen, who lives in Blauvelt, said the community had already been very supportive before his shop opened. He is still planning to have a grand opening ribbon cutting.
This is Cohen's second Yogurt Sensations. The other opened in New City in November of 2011.
Both locations of Yogurt Sensations are open seven days a week, from 12 p.m. to 10 p.m. Monday through Thursday and 12 p.m. to 11 p.m. Friday through Sunday.
