Yonkers Man Indicted On Burglary, Assault and Weapons Possession

David Tyson, 34, of Yonkers has been indicted on charges of burglary, assault and criminal possession of a weapon, a tire iron, in connection with an incident in the Village of Haverstraw in June.

Rockland County District Attorney Thomas P. Zugibe said Tyson allegedly entered a residence on Broadway, injured one person and threatened that individual with a tire iron. On July 3, a Rockland County Grand Jury returned an indictment against Tyson for two counts of Burglary 1st Degree, Assault 2nd Degree and Criminal Possession of a Weapon 3rd Degree.
