Patch: How long have you been doing business in town?
Jaffe: Since 1993.

Patch: What attracted you to the business you’re in, and how did you get started?
Jaffe: Personal tragedy in my own life exposed me to how devastating a sense of helplessness can be. I wanted a way to help alleviate that feeling for others, which in turn helped alleviate my own feelings.
Patch: If you had to sum up your business mission to a stranger in five words, what would those words be?
Jaffe: Every DUI case has defenses.
Patch: What’s the biggest challenge or most difficult moment you’ve faced in your job?
Jaffe: Fighting the stigma of an accusation on behalf of my clients, who are innocent until proven guilty.
Patch: What’s the most satisfying part of your job?
Jaffe: Helping people put their life back together.
Patch: You’re not the only person in this business. How do you distinguish yourself from the others?
Jaffe: I’m not only an attorney; I’m a licensed EMT and a firefighter. I understand what some are going through because I’ve assisted many victims of traumatic injuries as my role as a first responder.
Patch: What’s the best piece of advice you’ve ever been given when it comes to success?
Jaffe: Love what you do and you will never work a day in your life!
Patch: What would you say are a few secrets to your success?
Jaffe: Respect, honesty, devotion and compassion.
Patch: What is your favorite thing about the Patch?
Jaffe: I have always been a believer in supporting local business efforts, and I enjoy reading the Patch’s up-to-date news stories.
