EAST WILLISTON, NY — A pair of Wheatley School students have achieved an academic milestone.

Eighth-grader Jaden Zhu and senior Dian Yang are among the top 2.5 percent of all participants in the American Mathematics Competition— a challenging test of critical thinking and problem-solving skills.

More than 300,000 students from across the nation participate in the prestigious competition each year.
