3 NYC Men Caught With 100s of THC Products At Long Island Store: Police

The products were found during an investigation by Narcotics and Vice Squad detectives, Nassau police say.

BELLEROSE TERRACE, NY — Three New York City men were charged with criminal sale of a controlled substance after hundreds of products with Tetrahydrocannabinol were found in an investigation at a Bellerose Terrace convenience store on Thursday afternoon, Nassau police said.

The products were found in an investigation by Narcotics and Vice Squad detectives at Convenience and Smoke on Jamaica Avenue at 4:40 p.m., according to police.

Detectives and 3rd Precinct Problem Oriented Police officers found hundreds of bags or products containing THC and also products containing Cannabis, police said.

Thousands of flavored nicotine products that were on display for sale and in a back room were also seized, according to police.

Ahmed Mahmood Ali, 22, of Brooklyn, and Mohamedou Mohamed Sidiya, 26, Mohamed Abdellahi, 27, both of Queens, were charged with fifth-degree criminal sale of a controlled substance and two counts of fifth-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, both felonies.

They will be arraigned on Friday at First District Court in Hempstead.
