Broadway Park Gets $1 Million Facelift As It Reopens After Months Of Renovations
A ribbon-cutting ceremony was scheduled for Monday.

NEW HYDE PARK, NY — A ribbon-cutting ceremony was held for the reopening of Broadway Park at Garden City Park.
After residents voiced their concerns about the facility, the Town of North Hempstead took action to renovate the grounds.
The park received a $1 million facelift that new includes new spray pads, playground equipment, and safety surfaces. There are also upgrades to the seating and rest areas, landscaping and LED lighting.
