Credit Cards, iPhones Stolen From New Hyde Park Business: Police

Police say they are still searching for the thief who broke into a New Hyde Park business this week.

NEW HYDE PARK, NY — Nassau County police are asking for the public's help in identifying the person behind a commercial burglary at a World Courier in New Hyde Park.

The break-in happened at 1313 4th Ave. around 8 p.m. Monday.

Authorities say an unknown man was caught on video entering through a front office window and removing iPhones and credit cards before fleeing the scene on foot. He was last seen walking south on 13th Street.

Detectives describe the suspect as a slim, 5-foot-10 black man. He was last seen wearing a red hair rag, a black backpack, a yellow sweatshirt, yellow pants, and yellow sneakers.

Anyone with additional information is asked to call the Nassau County Crime Stoppers at 1-800-844-TIPS. Callers will remain anonymous.
