Female Passenger On Motorcycle Dies After Nassau Crash: Police
The crash took place Saturday, police say.
NORTH HILLS, NY — A female passenger on a motorcycle died in a North Hills crash Saturday, police said.
According to Nassau County police, the crash took place at 12:49 p.m.; a 51-year-old male operating a 2025 Kia Sportage, traveling eastbound on the South Service Road, was involved in a collision with a 2010 Harley Davidson motorcycle driven by a 63-year-old man, police said. He and his passenger, 58, were also traveling eastbound, police said.
As a result of the collision, all three individuals were transported to a nearby hospital, police said. The 51-year-old male operator of the Kia Sportage and the 63-year-old male operator of the motorcycle sustained minor injuries, police said. The 58-year-old woman suffered severe trauma and was pronounced deceased at the hospital, police said.
