Fireworks Sold Illegally At Nassau Gas Station: Police
Inder Singh was arrested and charged on Wednesday morning, police said.
NEW HYDE PARK, NY — A Franklin Square man has been arrested and charged for unlawfully selling fireworks, police said.
Inder Singh, 52, was taken into custody just before 11 a.m. on Wednesday, police said.
Officers responded to the Valero Gas Station located at 1501 Jericho Turnpike in New Hyde Park after receiving numerous complaints of fireworks possibly being sold on the premise, authorities said.

After conducting an investigation, officers located illegal fireworks displayed for sale inside and placed the employee, Singh, 52, under arrest without incident, police said.
Singh was issued in appearance ticket returnable on Wednesday, August 6 at First
District Court in Hempstead.
