Voters Approve Herricks Budget, Elect Trustees
Residents headed to the polls Tuesday to vote on a school budget and elect board members.

Herricks residents approved a 2018-19 school budget on Tuesday.
The $114,391,671 budget passed with 885 yes votes and 382 no votes, according to the school district. The budget is a 2.86 percent spending increase over the current year and it comes with a 2.55 percent tax levy increase.
Residents also elected Nancy Feinstein and Brian Hassan to the Herricks Board of Education.
