Iola Chieffo, 91, Great-Grandmother

Iola Chieffo passed away on Jan. 14, 2014 in New Hyde Park, New York at the age of 91. She was born on Feb. 15, 1922.

She was the beloved wife of the late Anthony; loving mother of Doreen Schltheiss; dear mother-in-law of Alan Schultheiss; cherished grandmother of Gregory Schultheiss, John Schultheiss and Eric Schultheiss; devoted great grandmother of Caitlyn, John Jr., Antoinetta and Gregory.

Arrangements under the direction of Frederick Funeral Home, 192-15 Northern Boulevard, Flushing, New York 11358. Iola's family will be receiving visitors at the Frederick Funeral Home on Thursday, Jan. 16, 2014 from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. and from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be on Friday, Jan. 17, 2014, at St. Kevin's RC Church with interment at Flushing Cemetery.
